‘Sarah Connor’ star for ‘Melrose’ role |

Former Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles actress Stephanie Jacobson is cast as a lead in the Melrose Place remake.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, she will play Lauren, a med student at UCLA living a double life as a high-end call girl.
Colin Egglesfield - best known for his role in daytime soap All My Children - is also cast in the CBS drama series. He will play Auggie, an avid surfer who works as a chef.

Here’s some good news for fans of the beleaguered Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: Friday’s ratings saw a reversal of fortunes that took everyone by surprise… and may be a good sign for the future.
Amazingly, Terminator’s last episode, “Today is the Day Part 1,” saw a 20% bump in audience size to 3.5 million viewers on Friday (Dollhouse also rose, 7%); while some expected a rise following last week’s appalling numbers - which we suspected had more to do with Watchmen’s premiere than the show itself - a 20% rise is more than was expected, and in addition to the 30% audience bump the show gains from DVR viewers, enough to make the argument that the show’s audience may be larger if it was given a different timeslot.

Thomas Dekker starring in Slaughter’s Road |

Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles star Thomas Dekker is planning to star in Slaughter’s Road, a new horror thriller from David Hayter.
The Watchmen co-writer has set up the film as part of a new production company, Dark Hero Films, which he will use to create his own material and also to help out other filmmakers.
Slaughter’s Road is his attempt to right what he perceives as mistakes made by other lupine pics, though he hasn’t offered many details.
